Welcome to the 2019 World Championships for snowboard, freestyle and freeski. Our three host mountain resorts are happy to welcome media to cover this remarkable event featuring some of the most exhilarating events in winter sport.

The event will include over 1,300 athletes from 36 nations competing in 25 World Championship medal events from February 1-10. Check out this link to learn more about the event.

This guide will provide you with a general overview of media accreditation and access for the entire period of the Championships. The event will be held at four different venues at three separate mountain resorts. Solitude Mountain Resort in Big Cottonwood Canyon will play host to snowboardcross and skicross. Park City Mountain in Park City will be the site of parallel events, halfpipe and slopestyle (at Park City Mountain base) as well as big air (at Canyons Village). Deer Valley Resort is the site for moguls and aerials.

Information for online accreditation is located below. Once approved for accreditation, media may pickup credentials at any venue.

We look forward to seeing you this February. If you have any questions on accreditation, lodging or other logistics, please reach out to me personally.

2019 Media Accreditation

Media accreditation for the World Championships is now open for any news media wishing to provide on-site coverage at the event. Please submit one form per applicant by clicking on the link below. Media outlets requesting more than one credential will need to complete multiple form submissions. This credential application is for the sole use of the working news media assigned to cover the 2019 FIS Snowboard, Freestyle and Freeski World Championships.

Two forms of accreditation are available for news media. A Media accreditation will provide access to the media centers and finish area media mixed zone. A Photo accreditation will provide access to the media centers and designated finish area photo zones. A limited number of special access photo armbands will be issued to select media outlets. Please note any requests on your accreditation form.

Please note that this event takes place at four separate venues with driving distance between them. Please visit here for a complete schedule of events. Public transportation exists from Salt Lake City to Solitude, and around the Park City area itself. There is limited public transportation between Salt Lake City and Park City.
